Hi – I’m Laurentiu, and I’m proud to call myself a Customer Service Agent for Liquid.
I have a long history working in premium hospitality and dealing with customers, which is what originally drew me to Liquid.
Meeting new people from different backgrounds is what really keeps me going, and as a Liquid Customer Support Agent, my day is spent delivering and collecting cars from all types of people across London. It’s nice when you see the same person – which also means their first experience was so good that they’ve come back to book again – but being able to meet different people every day, and knowing that you’re helping them go on a fantastic adventure, is what really gets me up in the morning.
I moved to London 5 years ago, and was immediately taken by the vibe of this huge metropolis. It’s a city where the past meets the future, which is something we want you to feel when using Liquid. It’s the combination of the heritage brand embodied by Land Rover (all Liquid vehicles are Land Rovers), and the modern, as you book seamlessly on an iPhone app, and have a car delivered right to your door.
My wife recently got pregnant, which was the best news I’ve ever had. It makes me think about the future, and there are a lot of parallels with Liquid, actually. Liquid is new and exciting – it’s small right now, but is on the way to growing into something exceptional. Being able to join the Liquid team at such an early stage, being able to see the joy that people get from using the service, and seeing how we’re evolving and building a better service with every rental, is really something special for me.
In terms of my day to day, who wouldn’t like to spend it driving beautiful cars around a beautiful city? In the morning I’m normally out delivering or collecting cars, making sure that the customers have everything they need and that they are comfortable in the new car. I’ll normally do some maintenance during the day, making sure that the cars are thoroughly cleaned, that they are topped up with fuel (Liquid doesn’t require customer to refuel during their rentals) and that they are in perfect shape for the next customer.
In the afternoons, especially towards the end of the week, it can get pretty busy with multiple deliveries scheduled. The Liquid Operations team are fantastic, and we haven’t missed one delivery or collection window yet. Quite an achievement I think!
So whether you’re renting for business or for pleasure, you’re heading off on your own or you’re bundling 3 young kids into the back seats, it’s my job to make sure that you have everything you need, so that you can enjoy your trip and not worry about a thing.
